The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a suspect wanted for carjacking and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violence crime.
John Henry Blocker, 49, is wanted by police following a Sunday incident that occurred around 11:30 p.m. The Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call from a victim who told deputies that the suspect flagged him down on Outing Club Road, according to police.
The victim told police that the suspect pointed a gun at him, threatened him and forced him out of his car. According to the initial incident report, the suspect fired several shots and fled the area in the car belonging to the victim.
Blocker has an additional warrant for his arrest for receiving stolen goods from a previous incident that occurred on Sept. 10.
