Hope Bennett of Aiken, SC and Zack Maier of Aiken, SC were married July 20, 2013 at Trinity United Methodist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Mike Bennett. The Rev. Donnie Bates officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mike and Patti Bennett of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Joyce Thorpe and William and Virginia Bennett.
The bridegroom is a son of Eric and Tanya Maier of Aiken. He is a grandson of Helen Stanziano and Jack and Betty Maier.
Angie Cuteri of Aiken was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Whitney Tharp of Aiken, friend of the bride; Beryl Walker of Davis, CA, friend of the bride; and Shelly Jahn of Clemson, friend of the bride.
Taylor Maier of Aiken, SC was the best man. Groomsmen were Trey Simpson of Davis, CA, friend of the groom; John Low of Aiken, SC, friend of the groom; and J.C. Edwards of Seneca, SC, friend of the groom.
Allie Bennett of Aiken, SC was the flower girl.
Following a reception at Newberry Hall, the couple left for a wedding trip to France.
They will reside in Seneca, SC.
The bride is a 2009 graduate of South Aiken High School and a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in early childhood education. She is employed by Little Lights Learning Center.
The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of South Aiken High School. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He is employed by Duke Energy.
