GREENVILLE (AP) — The Bi-Lo Center in Greenville is getting a new name.
The Greenville Arena District Board voted on Thursday to rename the 15,000-seat arena the Bon Secours Wellness Arena after the nonprofit company that runs two hospitals in the area.
The company is paying $4.5 million for the naming rights for the next 10 years.
Grocery chain Bi-Lo decided not to renew its naming rights when its $3 million contract ran out earlier this month. The arena has been known as the Bi-Lo Center since it opened 15 years ago.
