Letter: Keisler’s columns are delightful

This letter is long overdue. I have enjoyed Dr. Keisler’s column for years. If you haven’t enjoyed his column, you are missing something brilliant from a local guy. His articles are historically accurate, philosophically astute, and always include a good dose of humor.

The article on time and clocks of a year ago, perhaps, was beautiful in its understanding of time and as Augustine said, how little we understand it as concept though we use it as measure both day and night.

His column on Sept. 2 on ancient grain versus sweet wheat is yet another example, both historically instructive and practical as nutrition advice.

We in Aiken are fortunate to have a medical practitioner with philosophical acumen.
