According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:


A North Augusta woman reported on Friday that there had been a break-in at a business on Ascauga Lake Road. All the building’s windows and doors were broken. In addition, all the light bulbs were broken and equipment was damaged. Foam from a fire extinguisher was inside and outside of the building, and there was paint on the carpet and interior walls.


An Aiken man who works at an automotive equipment store on Augusta Road in Beech Island reported on Friday that someone had forced entry into the business. Missing were a Hewlett-Packard laptop and three weed trimmers.


A Beech Island woman reported on Saturday that someone had thrown a stone at her 2003 Honda Accord on Augusta Drive. The rock dented the car’s trunk hood and smashed the rear window.


A Beech Island man reported on Saturday that someone had broken a window in his garage at his home on Augusta Road. Items that were missing included three drills, two leaf blowers and a chain saw.


An ATV was reported stolen on Saturday from a paddock at a home on Smiths Lawn Drive in Aiken.


An Aiken man reported on Saturday that a gun had been taken from his home on Valley Drive in Aiken.


A Denmark man reported on Saturday that his 2003 Ford F350 pickup was stolen after he left it parked on the side of Surrey Race Road in Salley. He said the vehicle had broken down and was locked.


Thirty-seven Percocet pills were reported stolen on Friday from the hood of vehicle parked at a home on Augusta Road in Warrenville. The medication had been left there after the victim got into a conversation and forgot where it was.


A Graniteville man reported on Saturday that a television and DVD player were taken from the backseat of his unlocked car when he left it parked in front of Clearwater First Baptist Church in Clearwater. The man, who was there to prepare for a driving school class he was giving, said he was inside the church for less than five minutes before he returned to the vehicle and discovered that the items were missing.


A Graniteville man reported on Saturday that a leaf blower had been taken from a lawn trailer parked outside his home in Ridgecrest Circle.


A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that multiple items were missing from his storage garage at his home on Johnson Road. The responding officer determined that someone had entered the building through a window.


A Bath man reported on Saturday that someone had thrown orange paint on his vehicle that was parked outside his home on Railroad Street. Paint was also on the ground and a fence on the property. The responding officer found a paint bottle lying in the yard of a nearby house on Maple Street and there was orange paint on the side of the residence.


A Jackson woman reported on Saturday that someone had cracked and broken the windshield on the passenger side of her vehicle that was parked outside her home on Runs Creek Drive.


A back door was damaged at Norris Used Cars on Augusta Road in Gloverville on Saturday when two men allegedly tried to break into the business. A Warrenville man, who was the complainant, said he saw two “possibly white” male subjects walk to the rear of the building. The complainant said he then heard banging for several minutes before the subjects left the scene in a vehicle.
