Bruno Schickedanz’s Urban Forester made it three consecutive victories with a two-length win in a 1 1/16-mile race over the Polytrack Elite surface at Woodbine on Sept. 1.
The 5-year-old son of Old Forester, is conditioned by Norman McKnight, and the chestnut gelding started his win streak with a 7-furlong allowance score on the turf at Fort Erie on July 9. The Ontario-bred has six wins from 20 starts, and increased his lifetime earnings to $190,561.
Tim Cole’s, 5-year-old chestnut mare, Gold Glory picked up her first win in nearly 2 1/4 years, as the daughter of Gold Search won a 6-furlong race by two-lengths at Indiana Downs on Sept. 2. Gold Glory is trained by Bobby Zahl.
