Laura Elizabeth Gibbons of Aiken and Ronnie Lee Curtis of Aiken were married June 22, 2013, at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church. The bride was given in marriage by Whit Gibbons. The Rev. Grant Buchanan Wiseman officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Whit and Carolyn Gibbons of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. H.T. Conley and Robert Gibbons and Janie Moore Gibbons.
The bridegroom is a son of Ronald Curtis of Lake Worth, Fla., and Paula Keech of Tallahassee, Fla. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Howard A. Lembcke and Mr. and Mr. and Mrs. Reuben E. Curtis.
Susan Lane Harris of Aiken was the matron of honor. Ringbearers were Parker Gibbons, Sam High and Nicholas Harris.
Allison Gibbons was the soloist.
Stacy Keech of Tallahassee, Fla., was the best man.
Following a reception at Houndslake Country Club, the couple left for a wedding trip to Kiawah Island.
They will reside in Aiken.
She is a 1996 graduate of American University with a Bachelor of Arts. She is employed by Blue Salamander Solutions LLC.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering. He is employed by Shaw Project Services Group LLC.
