The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl D. Jacobs of Aiken, SC. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. Patsy D. Blanchard of Baton Rouge, LA and Dr. Harold J. Jacobs of Lafayette, LA.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Newt Pressley of Spartanburg, SC. He is a grandson of Mrs. Geraldine Pressley of Lexington, SC.
Ashley Coomes of Greenville, SC, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor. Kendall Aguilar of Baton Rouge, LA, friend of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Madeleine Pressley of Charleston, SC, sister of the groom; Allie Hafner of Sumter, SC, friend of the bride; Lorien Owens of Columbia, SC, friend of the bride; and Kari Browder of Houston, TX, friend of the bride.
Newt Pressley of Spartanburg, SC, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Bradley Jacobs of Baton Rouge, LA, brother of the bride; Warren Pressley of Atlanta, GA, brother of the groom; Benson Jones of Columbia, SC, friend of the groom; Adam Belch of Greenville, SC, friend of the groom; and Ian Batt of Richmond, VA, friend of the groom.
Following a reception at The Hall at Senate’s End, Columbia, SC, the couple left for a wedding trip to Cancun, Mexico.
They will reside in Greer, SC.
The bride is a graduate of the University of SC with a degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She is employed by Spartanburg School District 5.
The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of Spartanburg High School. He is a graduate of the University of SC with a degree in Accounting. He is employed by Price Waterhouse Coopers.
