Priscilla Simon graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of science in biology from USC Aiken on May 9. In her four years there, she did research on HIV and placed first, three years in a row for her research at the annual statewide Academy of Science meeting. Competing with all USC schools, she place second at Discovery Day for her research. In 2011-2012 she was named Biology Student of the Year and was a Megellan Scholar. For the 2012-2013 year, she was named Outstanding Female Scientist. She is a member of the Biological Honors Society (TriBeta) and served on leadership all four years for the Baptist College Ministries. She also graduated from the honors program. Priscilla is the daughter of Willie and Sue Simon.
