The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man said to be connected with a Monday night shooting in Graniteville.
Deputies responded to 340 Aiken Road about 10:20 p.m., on Monday, where one of the victims told officers that the suspect, 20-year-old Devron Duncan, approached the other victims and her while presenting a handgun, according to a sheriff’s report.
The caller told officers Duncan fired two shots toward his girlfriend and her children while they sat in a vehicle and fired again as she ran toward the entrance to an apartment.
One victims suffered injuries from being physically assaulted by Duncan, police said. She was treated at Aiken Regional Medical Centers.
The victim told officers she did not know who dropped her off at the hospital, and hospital staff did not see who dropped her off, according to the report.
Duncan fled the area in a vehicle before law enforcement arrived.
Investigators have obtained warrants for Duncan for attempted murder and other associated charges, police said.
