Catherine Elise Hasty of Aiken and Jerry Ray Beck of Aiken were married June 15, 2013, at Aiken’s First Baptist Church.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents. The Rev. Fred Andrea III officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Clark Hasty of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Estel Mills and Mrs. Shirley Hasty and the late Rev. Jack Hasty.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Ray Beck of Aiken. He is a grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vetron Baughman and Mrs. Mary Beck and the late Mr. Bubba Beck.
Miss Erin Hasty and Miss Sarah Hasty, sisters of the bride from Aiken, SC, were the maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Erin Huxford, friend of the bride from Lexington, SC; Miss Jessica Lee, friend of the bride from Charleston, SC; Miss Caroline Manning, friend of the bride from New York, NY; Mrs. Jac Moran, friend of the bride from Lexington, SC; and Miss Kathryn Stone, friend of the bride from Arlington, TX.
Mr. Calvin Ray Beck, father of the groom from Aiken, SC, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Travis Beck, brother of the groom from Houston, TX; Mr. Will Brown, friend of the groom from Aiken, SC; Mr. Marc Joehnk, friend of the bride and groom from Lexington, SC; and Mr. Travis Phillips, friend of the groom from Aiken, SC.
Following a reception at Newberry Hall in Aiken, SC, the couple left for a wedding trip to Asheville, NC.
They will reside in Aiken, South Carolina.
The bride is a graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Elementary Education. She is employed by Aiken County Public School District.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Aiken High School. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Political Science. He is employed by the Lower Savannah Council of Governments.
