According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

An Aiken man reported on Wednesday that someone struck the retractable gate at the end of his Park Avenue driveway, damaging the gate.

An Aiken woman reported someone used her Social Security number to file an income tax return.

An unknown man entered a store on Richland Avenue, filled a shopping cart with $460 in merchandise and exited the store without paying. A store employee followed the man out, and he then left the cart and fled the scene.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Hardwood Court on Thursday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

Burglaries were reported on Legion Road in Warrenville, Huron Road in Aiken, Idle Drive in Wagener, Wagener Road in Aiken and Lighthouse Lane in North Augusta.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Cooks Bridge Road in Aiken on Thursday.
