Special education teacher Kristie Brooks was selected as Ridge Spring-Monetta High School’s Teacher of the Year. She attended the Aiken County District Teacher of the Year banquet on April 29. Brooks and her husband Hank will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary on May 23.
Hank is a youth minister in Lexington, and the two spend much of their free time with youth group students. Kristie enjoys baking and playing with their dog Georgia. She also loves college football and Atlanta Braves baseball.
