Irma Gray ‘Bill’ Renew
AIKEN, S.C. – Mrs. Irma Gray Renew, 94, of Aiken, SC, affectionately known as “Bill”, mother of Barbara (Richard) Phillips, entered rest on Wednesday, March 13th, 2013. Born in and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Coles and Irene Jennings Wheat Gray. She retired from the Swint Division of the Graniteville Company where she was a Weaver. “Bill” enjoyed flowers and was a “Master Gardener”. More than anything however she enjoyed being with her grandchildren, Page (Clif) Hall, Madge (Tracy) Fleming and Stacy Phillips and her great-grand’s, Lindsey (Dustin) McCully, Lauren Hall, Madison Hall and Perry Fleming. She is also survived by her last sibling, Mrs. Frances Whittle, Gloverville, SC. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 15th, 2013, at 3:30 in the Warrenville Cemetery, War-renville, SC, with Pastor Dexter Lambert officiating. It has been requested by the family that if so desired memorials in her memory be made to the American Lung Association (http://www.lung.org/) or Warrenville First Baptist Church.
