Jenifer Elizabeth DeHart of Evans, GA and John Langdon Luton of Evans, GA were married February 2, 2013 in a surprise ceremony at Aiken’s Rose Hill Estates. The bride was given in marriage by her parents. Pastor Phillip Hamilton officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Glen DeHart, Sr. of Greenville, SC and Jana L. DeHart of Lexington, SC. She is the granddaughter of the late Harold Laney and Sue Laney of Great Falls, SC and the late Hershel and Sybil DeHart of Aiken, SC
The bridegroom is a son of Philip and Joy Luton of Aiken, SC. He is the grandson of the late Jack Jarriel and Anne Jarriel of Aiken, SC and the late Don and Merrie Lou Luton of Aiken, SC.
In attendance were the immediate families of the bride and groom including: Glen, Jr. and Sharon DeHart, brother and sister-in-law of the bride; Christopher and Regina DeHart, brother and sister-in-law of the bride; James Mattos (Matt) DeHart, brother of the bride; Derek and Ellen Luton, brother and sister-in-law of the groom; and Grant Luton, brother of the groom. Also in attendance were Charles and Allison Edens and Gary and Cayce Hoenshel, friends of the bride and groom.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Aiken High School. She is a graduate of Clemson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student affairs.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Aiken High School. He is a graduate of Clemson University with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management.
