A New York man has been accused of soliciting “sexual favors” from employees of The Willcox, according to the Aiken Department of Public Safety.
The incidents happened at about 9:15 p.m. on Thursday at the hotel on Colleton Avenue, according to reports.
The suspect reportedly sent a note to the front desk of the hotel requesting that one of the victims come to his room and offering payment of $500.
The suspect made “inappropriate advances” toward another employee, according to the report. The victim said that while completing her housekeeping duties, the suspect began rubbing her hair. She reportedly felt uncomfortable and left the room. The suspect was escorted from the hotel by staff after the incident and left in a blue Ford F-350, according to the report.
The incident is still under investigation, and charges had not been filed against the suspect as of Tuesday afternoon.
