Doctor and Mrs. Jonathan Claude Collins of Aiken, South Carolina announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Ashley of Chattanooga, Tennessee to Clinton Hudson Brakebill of Chattanooga, Tennessee, a son of Ms. Beth Sosebee Walker of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Hudson Brakebill of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee. The wedding is planned for April 26, 2013 at St. Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church in Aiken, South Carolina.
The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of Gladys Adams Niland of Aiken, South Carolina, and the late Thomas Benjamin Niland, Jr. and a paternal granddaughter of Marilyn Deloache Collins of Belvedere, South Carolina, and the late Edward Joshua Collins.
She is a 2006 graduate of Aiken High School. She is a 2011 graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She is employed at Erlanger Health Systems in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of Waynette Blalock Sosebee of Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the late Harold Clinton Sosebee, Jr., and a paternal grandson of Connie Marie Brakebill of Athens, Tennessee, and the late Richard Hudson Brakebill.
He is a 2004 graduate of The McCallie School in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is a 2008 graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a 2011 graduate of The University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He is employed by Erlanger Health Systems in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He will begin the CRNA Program at the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga in the spring of 2013.
