Owner Brenda K. Selwyn Waxman and trainer Mike Keogh scored a hat trick this weekend at Woodbine.
The connections won Saturday’s first race with Inclusa, who broke her maiden in a 1 1/16-mile race over the Polytrack Elite surface, scoring a 3 1/2-length victory. The 3-year-old Ontario-bred daughter of Smart Angel was ridden to victory by Luis Contreras.
Mount Brew broke his maiden in Saturday’s 5th race, coming off the pace to win a 1 1/16-mile race over the Polytrack Elite surface by 1-length. The juvenile colt by Grade 1 winner Milwaukee Brew was piloted to victory by Luis Contreras. Mount Brew was bred by Adena Springs.
It was a filly by Survivalist that would give the connections their third victory on Sunday as they took the day’s 10th race, a 7-furlong contest over the Polytrack Elite surface at Woodbine, winning by a head. The 3-year-old Ontario-bred filly was ridden to victory by David Moran.
