WEDDING: Cain - Rearden

Samantha Rearden of Aiken, SC, and Phillip Cain of Aiken, SC, were married Sept. 29, 2012, at Hopelands Gardens. The bride was given in marriage by Dale Stone. The Rev. Phillip Lee officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Dale and Elizabeth Stone of Aiken, SC. She is a granddaughter of Joseph and Bette O’Leary and Carl and Ruth Stone and Queenie Rearden.

The bridegroom is a son of Steve and Gaye Cain of Aiken. He is a grandson of Tom and Betty Thompson and Patsy Cain and Bob and Edna Cain.

Katherine O’Leary Waldrop of Greenville, SC, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathren Moyer of Lexington, SC, sister of the groom; Amanda De’Andrea of Aiken, SC, a friend; Lauren De’Bord of Aiken SC, cousin of the groom; Tara Fox of Aiken, SC, a friend; Rachel Harrelson of Wilmington, NC, a friend; and Melanie Hutto of Aiken, a friend.

Steve Cain of Aiken was the best man. Groomsmen were J.P. Moyer of Lexington, SC, brother-in-law of the groom; Ryan Blanks of Aiken, cousin of the groom; Joey Morris of Aiken, a friend; Colt Fox of Aiken, a friend; and Nick De’Andrea, a friend.

Following a reception in Newberry Hall, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Florida Keys.

They will reside in Aiken, SC.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Aiken High. She is a graduate of South Carolina Massage and Esthetics Institute with a degree in massage therapy and esthetics. She is employed by Spa by Samantha.

The bridegroom is a 2005 graduate of Aiken High. He is a graduate of Aiken Technical College with a degree in HVAC and electric maintenance. He is employed by Affordable Heating and Air.
