The U13 Sounders won the Fall 2012 Tournament for City Rec Soccer in the U13 age group. The Sounders Finished the Regular season with a record of 7-2-1 and won the tournament championship game on Thursday Oct 17.¬† Joshua Stokes was elected MVP by his felloe players. Super Senior League Tennis Championships

The 2012 Super Senior State Championships concluded on Sunday on the Isle of Palms and several players with Aiken-area connections competed. In the women’s 60 3.0 level championship, the Aiken team led by captain Cathy Cruse won the title.

The Aiken Area Tennis League also did very well in the 4.0 level, sending teams to finals of both the men’s and women’s events. Barb Dellamora was the coach of the women’s team and Sandy Harris captained the men’s squad.

USTA Southern Super Senior Leagues allow players 60 and over to compete in divisions divided by age and skill level. Players compete in divisions for those 60, 70, and 75 and older.
