All lanes now are open I-520 near Highway 25, many hours after a tanker truck carrying a product containing bleach rolled over early this morning, according to the North Augusta Police Department.

All lanes were blocked for most of the day at the portion of I-520 between Hwy. 25 and the I-20 interchange. A leak from the tanker was stopped earlier today, Thornton said, stressing there is no threat of harm to the public.

The driver of the truck has been transferred to Georgia Health Sciences University with unknown injuries.
