Jane Page Thompson is the right choice to oversee probate in Aiken County. She is an excellent problem solver and has a strong real estate background. She would modernize the probate office with an Internet platform. This would increase access and increase productivity while reaching more people in a shorter amount of time. Property owners in Aiken County would have access anywhere in the world to track and file their paperwork.
Having known Jane Page over the years, I am impressed at how much time she devotes to our community. Examples include involvement with numerous fundraisers - Children’s Place, Friends of the Aiken County Animal Shelter, United Way, Equine Rescue, Helping Hands, Hitchcock Woods, Mead Hall School, Rotary, Dancing With Aiken Stars, the Free Medical Clinic, Gaston Livery July 4th Picnic, Steeplechase charity events and the Thanksgiving Blessing of the Aiken Hounds. She sets a standard for volunteerism that any of us should be humbled by. These qualities are a major plus for any elected official.
At 41, she is at a good age for entering public service with new ideas for this office. I support Jane Page Thomson for probate judge.
