Police blotter for Sept. 26, 2012

Aiken Public Safety is investigating a report from the Department of Social Services that a newborn baby tested positive at birth for marijuana.

Two teenage girls were detained for allegedly assaulting a girl on the back of a school bus.

A burglary was reported at a home on Beaufort Street; the homeowner found a portion of the rear door and window broken. Nothing was reported missing.

A burglary was reported at a home on Airport Road. A set of keys was reported missing.

A Wagener woman reported a vehicle stolen from Windsor Road in Springfield.

A burglary was reported on Outing Club Road. The homeowner told deputies that a window air conditioner unit had been pushed through and an electronic item was missing.
