Today is Labor Day, the day set aside to honor the hard-working people of America.

For many itís a day off from work Ė one last day of summer fun. Others are toiling away.

This year we should all take a moment to be thankful if we have a job, and to consider those who want one, but canít find one. In Aiken County thatís a little more than 8 percent of the working population. Itís also a good day for employees to be thankful the people who keep their business operating.

Enjoy the holiday. Count your blessings.

Just one question: Is it OK to wear white after Labor Day?
