Bradley - Essex

Sara Kathryn Essex and John Michael Bradley of New Orleans, La., were married Oct. 3, 2009, at the Green Boundary Club in Aiken. Dr. John Benjamin Bradley, father of the groom, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Grant Essex of Alpharetta, Ga., and Mrs. Sandra Fisher of Homer, Ga. She is a maternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sanford Vandiver of Hartwell, Ga. She is a paternal granddaughter of Mrs. Grant Essex Sr. of Decatur, Ga., and the late Mr. Grant Essex Sr.

The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. John Benjamin Bradley of Aiken. He is the maternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Alfred Snyder. He is the paternal grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Benjamin Bradley Sr.

Miss Prisca Weems of New Orleans, La., was the maid of honor.

Mr. Elliott Epps of Columbia was the best man.

The bride received a bachelor's degree in art from the University of Georgia. She is a commercial photographer in New Orleans, La.

The groom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Augusta State University and the University of South Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science in journalism and a master's and Ph.D. in psychology. He is a clinical psychologist in private practice in New Orleans, La.
