The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Allyn Hiergesell of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Mrs. Marlene Hahn and the late Mr. Marvin Hahn of Mission, Texas, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hiergesell of Falls Church, Va.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael David Moss of Greer and Mr. and Mrs. James Lee Carl of Bourbonnais, Ill. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Burnell of Greer, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Obbink of Greer and Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Rogers of St. Petersburg, Fla.
The bride's sister Mrs. Casandra Dawn G,erdsen of Blairstown, N.J., was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Allison Hope Hathaway of Brooklyn, N.Y., friend of the bride; Miss Brittaine Mechelle Hinkson of Mt. Following a reception in Woodside Plantation Country Club, the couple left for a wedding trip to Isla Mujeres in Mexico.
They will reside in Greer.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Aiken High School. She is a 2005 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in communication studies. She is a 2009 graduate of New England College of Optometry with a Doctorate of Optometry.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Byrnes High School. He is a 2005 graduate of Clemson University with a degree in financial management. He is employed by Edward Jones and will be opening a new office in Spartanburg County.
