McMillan-Johnson wedding

Shenese Johnson of Aiken and Michael McMillan of Aiken were married June 20, 2009, in Aiken. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Ronnie Tyler Sr. officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Teresa Johnson and Alvin Culler of Wagener. She is a granddaughter of Julia Johnson and Arthur Staley and the late Elizabeth and Emanuel Culler.

The bridegroom is a son of Katie and Leroy McMillan of Allendale. He is a grandson of the late Carrie and Jessie Payne and the late Evelyn and Leroy McMillan.

Shaneen Dials-Corujo of Summerville was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Quintara Johnson of Gilbert, sister of the bride; Jessica Jerry of Aiken, godsister of the bride; Kristy Baldwin of Aiken, friend of the bride; Amelia Clemons of Wagener, friend of the bride; and Tykema Gleaton of Perry, friend of the bride.

Patrick McMillan of Barnwell was the best man. Groomsmen were Jermaine McMillan of Rome, Ga., brother of the groom; Gabriel McMillan of Allendale, brother of the groom; Michael Payne of Barnwell, cousin of the groom; Devry Gillens of Columbia, friend of the groom; and Osceola Pryor of Williston, friend of the groom.

Shamar Scott of Allendale was the ringbearer.

Cydnee Corujo of Summerville and Taraj'zhe Dials of Blackville were the flower girls.

The reception was held at the Aiken Center for the Arts.

They will reside in Aiken.

The bride is a graduate of Wagener-Salley High School. She is attending Aiken Technical College pursuing a degree in radiology technology. She is employed by Advance America.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Allendale-Fairfax High School. He is a graduate of Central Texas University with a degree in sociology. He is employed by UPS.
