Erin Rochelle Holford of Greenville, N.C., and Christopher Albert Rein of Greenville, N.C., were married May 9, 2009, at the home of the bride's parents in Aiken. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Dr. Douglas Edward Holford. Pastor Bruce C. Fox of Aiken officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Douglas Edward Holford of Aiken. She is the granddaughter of Mr. John Eliuk of Alberta, Canada, and the late Mrs. Stella Dudar Eliuk and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Richard Holford.
The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Stephen Rein of Burlington, N.C. He is the grandson of Mr. Dallas Craig Overton of Carle Place, N.Y., and the late Margaret Craven Overton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Albert Raymond Rein.
Ms. Amy Lynne Gustafson of Aiken was the maid of honor. Mrs. Tiffany Lenae Feil of Centerville, Ohio, was the matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Sarah Rein Kindley of Burlington, N.C., sister of the groom; Kelly Marie Regan of Costa Mesa, Calif., friend of the bride; Jessica Lynn Rein of Burlington, N.C., sister of the groom; and Carla Renee Witt of North Augusta, friend of the bride.
Caitlin Ruby Eliuk and Madison Belle Eliuk of Kalamazoo, Mich., cousins of the bride, were the flower girls.
Joseph Todd Bumgardner of Belmont, N.C., was the best man. Groomsmen were Zachary Douglas Holford of Chattanooga, Tenn., brother of the bride; Eric Richard Rehagen of Charlotte, N.C., friend of the groom; Joseph Charles Rein of Burlington, N.C., brother of the groom; Michael Dallas Rein of Charlotte, N.C., brother of the groom; and Stephen Matthew Rein of Charlotte, N.C., brother of the groom.
Jackson McDaniel Yeh and Lucas Reid Yeh of Aiken, friends of the bride, were the ring bearers.
Following a reception at The Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation, the couple left for a wedding trip to St. Lucia.
They will reside in Greenville, N.C.
The bride is a graduate of Aiken High School. She is a graduate of the Medical College of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is employed by the Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, N.C.
The groom is a graduate of Jamesville-DeWitt High School in Jamesville, N.Y. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a bachelor's degree in nursing. He is a graduate student in the nurse anesthetist program at East Carolina University in Greenville, N.C.
