Caba-Harris Wedding

Amanda Kaye Harris of Graniteville and Edward Adam Caba III of Columbia were married Jan. 24, 2009, in Columbia. The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Michael Townsend officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Robert Sr. and Sharon Harris of Graniteville. She is a granddaughter of Marshall and Annette White and the late Herbert Josey and the late William Jr. and Maxine Harris.

The bridegroom is a son of Edward Jr. and Judith Caba of Columbia. He is a grandson of James and Doris McCabe and the late Edward Caba Sr. and Marjorie Caba.

Rebecca Caba of Columbia, sister of the groom, was the maid of honor. Tonya Harris of Graniteville, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Shanna Josey of Warrenville, cousin of the bride; Betsy Trujillo of Boiling Springs, friend of the bride; Randi Bouknight of North Augusta, friend of the bride; and Melissa Wiggins of Atlanta, Ga., friend of the bride.

Michael Morgan of Myrtle Beach was the best man. Groomsmen were Shawn Singleton of Florence, friend of the groom; Paul Kirkpatrick of Lexington, friend of the groom; Jonathan Rauh of Columbia, friend of the groom; Darrick Williams of Columbia, friend of the groom; and Jeff Gage of Chapin, friend of the groom.

Jared Harris of Graniteville, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Mackensi Bellar of Boiling Springs and Alyson Davenport of Irmo were the flower girls.

Following a reception in Lexington, the couple left for a wedding trip to the Bahamas.

They will reside in Columbia.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Midland Valley High School. She is a graduate of USC Aiken with a degree in communications. She is employed by Wachovia.

The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Spring Valley High School. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in business administration. He is employed by Sprint-Nextel.
