Gauthier-Hendrix engagement
Robert and Joyce Snipes Cato announce the engagement of their daughter, Amanda J. Gauthier of Lyons, Ga., to Charlie D. Hendrix of Lyons, Ga., a son of Joan Akridge of Stillmore, Ga., and the late Charlie Hendrix. The wedding is planned for August 2009 in Hopelands Gardens.
The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of Mackie and Lottie Snipes of Aiken. She is a 2002 graduate of Aiken High School. She is employed by Allcare Pharmacy as a certified pharmacy tech.
The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of Lula Bell Scarboro of Kite, Ga. and the late Ed Marsh and a paternal grandson of Erastus and Nettie Hendrix of Metter, Ga. He is a graduate of ECI High School. He is employed by JBI Contracting Inc.
