Wilson-Barbee engagement

Mr. and Mrs. Jeffery G. Wilson Sr. of Aiken announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Michelle Wilson of Aiken, to Raymond Charles "R.C." Barbee of Ninety Six, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Barbee Jr. of Ninety Six. The wedding is planned for Oct. 10, 2009, at the Rye Patch in Aiken.

The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William V. Brown of Aiken and a paternal granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James O. Wilson Jr. of Aiken. She is a 2003 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of Aiken Technical College with a degree in criminal justice. She is employed by the Aiken Department of Public Safety.

The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles D. Surrett of Ninety Six and the late Betty G. Surrett, and a paternal grandson of Mr. Raymond A. Barbee Sr. of Greenwood and the late Mrs. Ruth Barbee. He is employed by UTI Logistics Co. in Laurens.
