Oscar Abrahamsson and the USC Aiken golf team earned an at-large selection into the NCAA South/Southeast Regional tournament.

The USC Aiken golf team secured an at-large bid to the upcoming NCAA South/Southeast Regional.

The NCAA South/Southeast Regional will be held May 9-11 at the Chattahoochee Golf Club in Gainesville, Ga. The event is hosted by No. 1 North Georgia.

Head coach Michael Carlisle's team is No. 4 in the Southeast Region. The Pacers stayed in the top 10 of the national rankings for much of the season.

The USCA baseball team is the No. 8 seed in the upcoming Peach Belt Conference Tournament.

Head coach Michael Holder's team will square off against top-seeded Lander in the first round of action in the double elimination tournament. The Pacers (14-36, 10-17) earned the final seed in the PBC Tournament by beating USC Beaufort on Sunday.

The tournament will be played over two rounds: May 3-5 and May 9-10. The opening weekend will feature two sites with four teams each in a double-elimination bracket. The two winners will meet in the second round for a best-of-three championship series.

At Lander this weekend, the Bearcats will also have No. 4 Georgia Southwestern, No. 5 Flagler and the eighth-seeded Pacers. Second-seeded Georgia College will host No. 3 Columbus State, No. 6 North Georgia, and No. 7 Augusta.
