If I had a time machine, I’d use it to wake up in 2029. Why? To avoid the next four years of either Biden or Trump in the White House.

If Trump wins, we’ll be saturated with constant attacks against him by grandstanding Democrats and the major network news channels. We certainly had a steady diet of that during Trump's last time in office.

If Biden wins, we’ll continue to live under liberal do-nothing policies and Republican attacks on his mental deficiencies.

In either case, there will be a wider division in Washington resulting in a no-win situation for us citizens because nothing meaningful will be accomplished.

The Hopelands Concert Series will be held Mondays through June 24. The SureFires (Jaycie & Brooke) will perform at 6:30 p.m. today at the Roland H. Windham Performing Arts Stage at Hopelands Gardens, 135 Dupree Place. Lawn chairs and blankets may be brought, as well as picnic dinners and non-alcoholic beverages. Parking is at the Green Boundary Club, 780 Whiskey Road. Handicap parking is available at the Rye Patch parking lot on Berrie Road and the Hopelands Gardens parking lot.
