Want to help decide who the President of the United States will be? Aiken County registered voters can vote to determine the state's choice for the Republican Party's nominee from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.

Though there are other names on the ballot, voters will be asked to choose from one of two major candidates: former president Donald Trump and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

Betting markets and polls favor Trump to win the Republican nomination.

RealClearPolitics's polling average shows Trump receiving around 74.8 percent of the vote nationally, with Haley receiving 16.9%.

ElectionBettingOdds.com lists Trump with a 88.5 percent chance to win the nomination as of Friday morning. Haley has a 5.5 percent chance to win the nomination.

Aiken County residents wishing to vote will need to visit their voting precinct.

People wishing to vote will need to bring photo ID like a driver's license, state-issued ID, voter registration card with a photo, military ID or passport.

Results will be available online at aikenstandard.com

The winner of the Republican nomination will face the winner of the Democratic nomination — likely incumbent President Joe Biden — in the Nov. 5 general election.
