TalkBack for Nov. 30
Catching dogs
I agree with the person on Mt. Beulah Road in Windsor who is having a problem with dogs. I have called Aiken County Animal Control at least three times, and nothing is done. There was a tag on my door where the dog catcher came out while I was at work. I have left my number with the girl answering the phone; however, no one has called to let me know when I can expect the dog catcher. I guess Aiken County is waiting on these dogs to attack someone before they will act.
Tattoo parlors
Folks at Woodside aren't alone in objecting to a downtown tattoo parlor. Most ordinary Aikenites also regard people with a multitude of tattoos, rightly or wrongly, as potential criminals and don't want a shop downtown that caters to and draws in such folks.
Thanksgiving
So many churches, including the one my family goes to, only think of Thanksgiving meal for their families. What I mean by that is they won't hear of having a sit-down Thanksgiving meal and inviting people to come. One year, they had one, and there was a little girl that came. When asked what we all are thankful for, she said for this wonderful meal.
Rules of the road
To refresh the memory of drivers; the right lane is for slower traffic, not the left. Maybe you wouldn't get tailgated if you remember that.
Christianity
Christianity hasn't done more damage than homosexuals. There are many Christians who don't have a problem with them. People should live their faith.
Disrespect
It is disrespectful to talk about the Confederate flag in such a way.
Hound blessings
Why don't they get all the hounds together and do a mass blessing?
Taking out trash
The people who collect the trash on Wheat Road would have an easier time if the customers learned to put their trash cans on the side of the road rather than the highway. I hit one damaging my truck. If you go to work at dark you are endangered.
