TalkBack for Nov. 28
Use headlights
I must caution Aiken drivers to turn their vehicle headlights on. If you drive in the early cloudy/sunlit morning hours, the early twilight evening hours or in any rain, turn your headlights on. In the middle of the night, it is easy to know you need to have your headlights on. Other times, it takes a more safety-conscious attitude.
Credit cards
The great defender of credit card companies must be unaware that people relying on credit cards to seek medical care file the most bankruptcies. They must seek medical care or die.
Drug busts
Why are there no drug busts in the Wagener trailer parks? The cops know about it but don't do anything.
More parking
If the downtown parking area is increased, the employees will just take it over. Stickers should be given to those who are shopping.
Catholic bishop
As a Catholic for Christ, I must speak out against the bishop in Rhode Island. They are Judas priests. They don't care about the unborn but are silent to the suffering of the already born and the violations against them. They need this for their false holy appearance.
Fort Hood attack
Why is the government so against saying the attack at Fort Hood was a terrorist, but if it were to involve a right-wing extremist it is always a terrorist attack?
Tattoos
There are no tattoo parlors around the north side of Aiken and look at the bad element attracted there. So what is the problem with a tattoo parlor again? As far as your neighbors having a tattoo, I have two - an angel on my shoulder and the Star of Life on my leg to remind me that I am dedicated to saving lives, even those who are narrow minded. Before you judge people with a tattoo, remember they are good people who work hard and contribute to society, probably more than you think.
