TalkBack for Jan. 27

Crime

There are not enough deputies patrolling the County apartments in Graniteville. There are seniors and handicapped people. Something must be done about the crime here.

Overlay District

I am sorry for the woman who can't do what she wants with her own house. The City of Aiken is for the people of Aiken, not themselves. I moved my business out of the City and laugh at what they are trying to do with the Highway Overlay District. If this passes, the City will tell me how I can and can't paint my property. They will watch their coffers drain as I and others will challenge them in court.

Do something

Something need to be done about DSS giving all these young parents food stamps; they sell them to the drug dealers.

Front page

I think it's a good idea to have the faces of the most wanted plastered on the front page. There are criminals everywhere. If you don't like it, move to Georgia. They have more criminals than we do. Maybe you need to be put on page six.

Citizenship

It doesn't matter if Obama were born in Kenya or Hawaii. His mother was a U.S. citizen.
