BEECH ISLAND -- Funeral services for Mrs. Gloria C. "Cookie" Johnson, 57, of 191 Swamp Road, Beech Island, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Anna Baptist Church, Aiken. Burial will follow in the Mt. Anna-Mt. Harris Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the residence of the sister, Phyllis Adams, 728 Fairview Ave., Belvedere, or call John Phillip Corley at (803) 671-5864 or call at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. The remains will lie in state at the church Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service.
