Gloria C. Johnson




BEECH ISLAND -- Mrs. Gloria C. Johnson, 57, of 191 Swamp Road, Beech Island, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at 2 p.m. from the Mt. Anna Baptist Church, Aiken. She was the daughter of the late Curtis R. Williams and Elease Withers.

Survivors include a devoted friend, Johnny "Pete" Moore of Aiken; stepmother, Louise A. Williams of Aiken; two daughters, Stacey Johnson and Traci Johnson, both of Aiken; two sons, John Phillip (Rachel) Corley of Windsor and Derrick Johnson of Aiken; three sisters, Deloris (Anthony) Glenn of Clermont, Fla., Phyllis Adams of Belvedere and Patricia A. Williams Whitt of Augusta; four brothers, Jerry (Cynthia) Withers of Augusta, Larry Williams of Marietta, Ga., Marty Ray Williams of Conway and Terry Williams of Jacksonville, Fla.


Friends may call at the residence of the sister, Phyllis Adams, 728 Fairview Ave., Belvedere, or call her son, John Phillip Corley, at (803) 671-5864, or call at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home beginning at 3 p.m. on Tuesday. The remains will lie in state at the church Wednesday from 1 to 2 p.m.
