Thelma A. Goodwin
TRENTON -- Mrs. Thelma Adams Goodwin, 80, of Mt. Zion Road, entered into rest on Oct. 28, 2009, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. Daniel Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Goodwin, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Debra (John) Griffin of Trenton, Doris L. Goodwin of North Augusta and Vernell D. Goodwin of Trenton; four sons, Nathan (Mildred) Goodwin, Benjamin (Atlee) Goodwin and Timothy V. Goodwin of Trenton and Norman (Sharon) Goodwin of El Cajon, Calif.; seven sisters, Beatrice Mance of Trenton, Ophelia Little of Washington, D.C., Sophia (Johnny) Bowman, Johnnie L. (Otis) Yeldell, Earline Scurry and Rosa Lee Mosley of Edgefield and Pernell (William) Ray of Neeses; a brother, Willie H. (Frances) Adams of Washington, D.C.; two sisters-in-law, Carrie (Levi) McKie of Aiken and Virginia Goodwin of Augusta; 12 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call at the residence.
