J.B. Garrett
GRANITEVILLE -- Mr. J.B. Garrett, 73, of Rainbow Falls Road, entered into rest on Sept. 26, 2009, at University Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
Mr. Garrett, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Piney Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Broadwater Garrett of Graniteville; seven daughters, Minister Delores McKevie of Augusta, Janie McKie and Julia (Willie) Walker of North Augusta, Betty (Mikel) Rouse, Lorie Garrett, Charlene (Stevie) Hammond and Skayvon (Ron) McCain of Graniteville; two sons, Johnny Willie Garrett and Marion (Becondria) Garrett of Graniteville; five sisters, Marie (Willie) Jefferson of Trenton, Lillie Callaham of Edgefield, Julia (Willie) Pollock and Lillian Pollock of Aiken and Beatrice (William) Berry of Edgefield; three brothers, Robert (Rosa) Garrett of Philadelphia, Pa., William (Josephine) Garrett of Edgefield and Roosevelt (Lillian) Garrett of Trenton; 18 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the residence.
