John Edwin Eubanks
MONTMORENCI -- Funeral services for John Edwin "Dick" Eubanks, 84, of Montmorenci will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 5, 2009, in the Folk Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Earl Satcher officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday, July 4 at Folk Funeral Home, Williston. Memorial contributions may be sent to Mt. Beulah Baptist Church Building Fund, 857 Mt. Beulah Road, Windsor, SC 29856. Dick died on Thursday, July 2, 2009, at his home.
Dick was a lifelong resident of Aiken County, son of the late Ernest Tillman Eubanks and Tinie Pennington Eubanks. He was a U.S. Army veteran, retired mechanic, construction worker, farmer and was a member of Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.
Survivors include his son and special daughter-in-law, Burma and Sue Eubanks of Montmorenci; sister-in-law, Gladys Eubanks; grandchildren, Edwin Lloyd (Cindy) Eubanks, Howard Lewis (Valorie) Eubanks and Thomas Vance Eubanks; great-grandchildren, Tadd Sanford (Jessica) Eubanks, Ashley Paige Eubanks, Daniel Burma Eubanks and Jonathan Ross Stone and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters, Dolly Mae Eubanks and Vivian E. Jordan, and a brother, Elton T. Eubanks. Visit the online registry at www.folkfuneralhome.com.
