Sampson W. Williams
WAGENER -- Mr. Sampson Willie "S.W." Williams, 73, entered into rest Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009.
Mr. S.W. was the son of the late Sampson and Bessie Lee Drawdy Williams. He was also predeceased by sisters, Annie Mae Rawls, Mary Lee Gunter, Ollie Mae Snipes and Frances Fulmer; and brothers, Eugene Drawdy, Percy Drawdy and Vernon Williams.
Mr. S.W. is survived by his wife, Julia Elaine McGuire Williams; children, Rusty (Myrtle) Williams and Troy Williams; stepchildren, Donald Haynes and Rebecca (James) Day, all of Wagener, and Heath Haynes of North Augusta; and grandchildren, Amanda Williams, Christopher Williams, Amber Williams, Sierra Williams, Kayla Garvin, Troy McCabe Williams, Cheryl Haynes, Bishop Haynes, Jimmy Day, Jessie Day, Larry Day, John Day, Anna Steen, Natasha Stephens and Wayne Stephens; great-grandchildren, Cameron Steadman, Trey Smith, Allayna Williams, Braxton Williams, Haley Williams, Edward Steen, Nathan Steen, Blake Steen and Destiny Katherine Day; sisters, Mary Ellen Prescott, Rita Miller and Betty June Fox.
