Mr. Sedric Eugene Sampson, 40, of 2668 Corning St., Hephzibah, Ga., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009, at Gwinnett Medical Center, Lawrenceville, Ga. The services for Mr. Sampson have been set for Friday, Dec. 11, 2009, at noon at the Runs Missionary Baptist Church, 1809 Williston Road (Highway 278), Beech Island, with the Rev. Anthony Wilson officiating. Mr. Sampson will lie in state from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. The funeral cortege will be led by the motorcycle club Kuttin Korners, leaving the residence (2668 Corning St., Hephzibah, Ga.) at 11 a.m. He leaves to cherish his most fondest memories; a son, Master Rodriquez Smith- Sampson of Hephzibah, Ga; father, Ernest Sampson of Jacksonville, Fla.: six sisters, Shadra (Alvin) Sampson-Cook of Jamaica, N.Y., Valarie (the Rev. Joseph) Tate of Jacksonville, Fla., Paula Sampson of Jacksonville, Fla., Evette (Phillip) Meyers of St. Augustine, Fla., Allyson Allen of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Linda Sampson of New York; four brothers, Ernest T. (Faye) Sampson III of Camden, Fla., Jeffrey (Polla Anna) Sampson of Tallahassee, Fla., Brian Highsmith of Jacksonville, Fla., and Ferdinand Sampson of Amytiville, N.Y. Viewing will begin Thursday, Dec. 10 from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Cheatham Funeral Home, 3187 Augusta Road, Langley.
