NORTH AUGUSTA -- Mrs. Mamie Beatrice LaBord of Finley Extension entered into rest Nov. 10, 2009. Mrs. LaBord, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Old Macedonia Baptist Church.
Survivors include five daughters, Marie Griffen and Bernice (Robert) Adams of North Augusta, Mary (Primus) Sims and Frances (Charles) Sims of Columbia and Cassandra (Bobby) Elam of Belvedere; four sons, Willie C. LaBord Jr., the Rev. Robert (Elise) LaBord and Ronnie LaBord of North Augusta and Ollie J. (Martha) LaBord of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Friends may call at the residence of her daughter, Marie Griffen, 9 Finley Extension.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009, at Old Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert L. LaBord officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
