Lisa Johnette Vance
Entered into rest Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009, at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Ms. Lisa Johnette Ruff Vance, 44, of 221 Cutler Court, Aiken. She was the daughter of the late John Ruff and Katherine Bennett Ruff Martz.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, at Montmorenci First Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Richardson officiating. Interment will be private.
Ms. Vance was a native of Beckley, W.Va., and had made Aiken her home for the past six years. She was a member of Montmorenci First Baptist Church.
Survivors include six sons, William Vance of Toledo, Ohio; Gaston Vance of Statesboro, Ga.; Darrell Vance, Michael Vance, Wilson Ruff and Andrew Ruff, all of Aiken; four daughters, Melissa Vance of St. George, Angie Vance of Lincolnton, N.C., Sandra Ruff of Aiken, Hazel Lewis of Aiken; three sisters, Sharon Kessler of Aiken, Denise Flint of Beckley, W.Va., Frances Lewis of Indiana; three grandchildren and her longtime companion, Ernest Lewis of Aiken.
The family will receive friends at the church after the services.
