Earl W. Blevins Jr.
MODOC -- Funeral services for Mr. Earl W. "Bud" Blevins Jr., 61, of Jasper Road, Modoc, who entered into rest Sept. 21, 2009, will be conducted Thursday morning at 11 a.m. at the Posey Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Donnie Crosswhite officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Masonic Rites.
Mr. Blevins was a lifelong resident of North Augusta, having made Modoc his recent home. He was a member of Central Christian Church, the Acacia Masonic Lodge No. 315 AFM and retired from Kimberly-Clark with 35 years of service. He was the father of the late Earl W. "Trey" Blevins III and David and Christian Blevins.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Glennis McCaslan Blevins; a daughter, Renee Blevins Clark, of North Augusta; two grandchildren, Timothy Daniel Clark and Brandi Elizabeth Clark; his mother, Vivian Blevins, of North Augusta; a sister and brother-in-law, Anne and Joe Fulghum, of North Augusta; a brother-in-law and his wife, David and Carolyn McCaslan, of Augusta; an adopted brother and sister, Bobby and Carolyn Williams, of Kite, Ga.
Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Acacia Masonic Lodge No. 315 AFM. Active pallbearers will be Andrew McCaslan, Joseph Earl Fulghum, Claude Andrews, Redmond Heath, Frank Thomas and Donnie Malone.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. The family will be at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Fulghum, 1903 White Bark Ave., North Augusta.
