Rosalie T. Bane
Aiken, SC-Mrs. Rosalie T. Bane, 93, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late James M. Bane and daughter of the late John G. and Mary Belle Alexander Truitt, entered into rest Monday, September 6th, 2010.
Born in Harris County, GA, she had been a resident of Columbus, GA, before making Aiken, SC, her home in 1953. She retired from Aiken Industries where she was a Supervisor after twenty-five years of service. Mrs. Bane was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and prior to her health declining, she enjoyed sewing and traveling. Mr. and Mrs. Bane also enjoyed going to Georgia and Auburn Football games.
Additional family members include daughters, the late Alice Faye Sides and Betty Wade Buckner, Aiken, SC; sisters, Jessie, the late Polly and the late Orina, brother, the late John, grandchildren, Dale Wade McKee, (Rocky) Brent Wade, (Rosa) Michael Sides, (Allyson) Douglas Sides (Debbie) and Lynn Snavely, (Charles), eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10th, 2010, at 3 o'clock from the graveside in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, SC, with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating. Pallbearers will be Chad McKee, Michael Wheeler, Doug Sides, Rocky McKee and Brent Wade.

The family has asked that memorials be made to Millbrook Baptist Church, for the renovation of the chapel.
