Lucas - Sauther
Mary Elizabeth Sauther of Aiken and Kevin Daniel Lucas of Aiken were married April 5, 2008, in Millbrook Baptist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her father, Jim Sauther. The Rev. Mark Epps officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sauther of Aiken. She is a granddaughter of Pat Cain and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Cain and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sauther.
The bridegroom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren C. Lucas of Aiken. He is a grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hart and Mr. and Mrs. Albertus Lucas.
Sara Wilson of Lexington, cousin of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ms. Kathren Cain of Lexington, cousin of the bride; Ms. Charla Griffin of Summerville, friend of the bride; Ms. Tessa Abbey of Langley, friend of the bride; and Ms. Hannah Cain of North Augusta, cousin of the bride.
Warren C. Lucas of Aiken, father of the groom, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. Keith Lucas of Estill, brother of the groom; Mr. Nick Hayes of Aiken, friend of the groom; Mr. Mac Hall of Aiken, friend of the groom; and Mr. Wade Sauther of Aiken, brother of the bride.
Following a reception at the City Municipal Building, the couple left for a wedding trip to Jamaica.
They will reside in Aiken.
The bride is a graduate of Palmetto Independent Educators. She is attending Aiken Technical College. She is employed by Eejay's Restaurant.
The bridegroom is a graduate of Aiken High School. He attended Spartanburg Methodist. He is employed by AB Beverage Co.
