Order of Omega inducts Greek honorees
Several USC Aiken students were recently inducted into the "Order of Omega," an academic honor society for members of Greek organizations.
Inductees must be at the junior or senior level, and their grade-point average (GPA) must be above the average GPA of all students in the Greek community.
Twenty-six students were inducted in the spring and fall 2009 semesters. Students are listed below with the name of the Greek organizations with which they are affiliated and their hometown.
The spring 2009 inductees included Rebecca Colflesh, Phi Mu - North Augusta; Alyssa Eiser, Phi Mu - Summerville; Emily Harris, Alpha Omicron Pi - Aiken; Shannon Miller, Zeta Tau Alpha - Lexington; Megan Overstreet, Zeta Tau Alpha - Graniteville; Jessica Reames, Zeta Tau Alpha - Aiken; Lindsay Rosado, Alpha Omicron Pi - Mt. Pleasant; Beth Ann Sawyer, Phi Mu - Ridge Spring; Sharee' Shannon, Delta Sigma Theta - St. Matthews; Josh Sizemore, Tau Kappa Epsilon - North Augusta; Laurel Smith, Delta Sigma Theta - Miami; Becka Wood, Phi Mu - Summerville; and Jessica Wickman, Phi Mu - North Charleston.
The fall 2009 inductees are Summer Al-Emam, Alpha Omicron Pi - West Columbia; Da'Koyoia Bailey, Alpha Kappa Alpha - Martin; LeeAn Ball, Phi Mu - Lexington; Lauren Barnes, Zeta Tau Alpha - Aiken; Marcus Billie, Kappa Alpha Psi - Hopkins; Maggee Byrd, Alpha Omicron Pi - Walterboro; Ashlyn Clarke, Alpha Omicron Pi - Gilbert; Justin Cumbee, Tau Kappa Epsilon - Aiken; Aaron Doctor, Kappa Alpha Psi - St. Helena Island; Joy Fann, Alpha Omicron Pi - Ridgeway; Ken Kennedy, Kappa Alpha Psi - Winnsboro; Lori Beth Long, Phi Mu - Newberry; and Susan MacClary, Phi Mu - Virginia Beach, Va.
